Scam Alert: Scammers Are Impersonating Upcall
Scam Alert: Scammers Are Impersonating Upcall
At Upcall Inc., trust is at the heart of everything we do. Unfortunately, we’ve become aware of individuals using the Upcall name without authorization, potentially misleading people into believing they are communicating with our legitimate company.
We want to make our clients, prospective customers, and the public aware of this issue and share a few important steps to help protect against impersonation scams.
What’s Happening?
Scammers sometimes use the names of legitimate businesses to make fraudulent communications appear trustworthy. This may include phone calls, emails, websites, social media accounts, or other messages that falsely claim to represent a company.
We are concerned about reports involving individuals who may have been misled by someone using the Upcall name.
To be clear, individuals who use our name without authorization are not representatives of Upcall Inc. We do not authorize anyone to misrepresent our company or use our identity to deceive others.
If you believe you’ve interacted with someone claiming to represent Upcall, but something doesn’t seem right, we encourage you to verify the communication before taking further action.
How to Protect Yourself
Here are four simple ways to help protect yourself from impersonation scams.
1. Verify the Sender
Be cautious if you receive an unexpected call, email, or message from someone claiming to represent Upcall. If you’re unsure whether the communication is legitimate, contact us through our official website at upcall.com.
2. Be Careful With Requests for Money or Personal Information
Never feel pressured to make an immediate payment or share sensitive information because someone claims to represent a legitimate business. Take time to verify the request independently before proceeding.
3. Check Email Addresses and Website Links
Scammers may use email addresses, website names, or links that look similar to those of legitimate businesses. Carefully review the sender and website address before clicking links or sharing information.
4. Report Suspicious Activity
If someone appears to be impersonating Upcall, save any relevant messages, emails, phone numbers, or website links. These details may help us investigate the situation.
If you believe you have been financially affected, contact your bank or payment provider promptly. You can also report suspected fraud to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov.
What to Do If You Believe You've Been Scammed
If you suspect that someone has used the Upcall name to mislead you, we encourage you to:
- Stop communicating with the suspected scammer until you can verify their identity.
- Avoid sending additional money or sharing sensitive information.
- Keep copies of relevant communications and transaction records.
- Contact your financial institution if you shared financial information or made a payment.
- Notify Upcall through our official website so we can review the suspected impersonation.
Please share only the information necessary to report the incident, and avoid sending passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information in an initial report.

At Upcall Inc., we value the relationships we build with our clients and the trust people place in our company. We do not condone impersonation, fraudulent activity, or the unauthorized use of our name.
